SPARC (Students Promoting Action and Responsibility in the Community) is a four-day service-oriented pre-orientation program for first-year students, or SPARCies.

During the week, SPARCies get to know the Wake Forest and Winston-Salem communities through service and evening outings; learn about issues facing the Winston-Salem community; and meet with community partners that work regularly with Wake Forest students.

Program Fee:

There is a $350 program fee due upon acceptance into the program. The fee covers housing, transportation, food and entertainment for the duration of the program.

Financial Aid:

Limited financial aid is available for students for which the program fee would be a financial burden.  Students in need of financial aid should indicate so on their applications. No payment is required to apply.
