Neighborhood Matters Forum

With the support of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Pro Humanitate Institute and Neighbors for Better Neighborhoods looks forward to holding the first “Neighborhood Matters” forum, an event free and open to all interested Winston-Salem community members.

Please join us for an afternoon of workshops and conversations amplifying community-based work, building relationships, and leveraging our collective assets for community change. These discussions will build upon the experiences of our three knowledge communities, which have spent recent months focusing on three individual, thematic areas: Environmental Justice, Immigration/Refugee Resettlement, and Education.

Event Schedule

2:30 PM–Welcome

3:00 PM–Building  & Maintaining Relational Work: A Discussion

4:30 PM–Rotational Skill-Building Table Talks

5:30 PM–Informal Happy Hour

If you are unable to attend the full schedule, we invite you to attend any section(s) that you are able–particularly the informal happy hour!
