Deacon Camp….An Insider’s Guide to Wake Forest
Deacon Camp is a three and a half day pre-orientation program which introduces first-year students to the compelling story of Wake Forest…past, present and future. Deacon Campers will go where few of their classmates will go, including Wake Forest historical sites, Demon Deacon athletic venues, and even a view from the top of Wait Chapel. They will explore their new home city of Winston-Salem and meet many of our Wake Forest leaders and athletic coaches. Deacon Camp is an opportunity for first-year students to jump-start their new college experience by fully integrating in the community, culture and traditions of Wake Forest. Campers will discover the values and experiences that make Wake Forest so special. They will make new friends as well as valuable connections as they begin to write their own unique chapter in the grand Wake Forest story. Deacon Camp is designed and facilitated by student leaders and Pro Humanitate Institute staff.
