Wake Forest students live out the university motto, “Pro Humanitate,” in various ways. One vital way they turn the university mission into action is through student philanthropy efforts. Philanthropy at its root is connected to what it means to be human and to care for humanity. Each year, the Wake Forest community joins together to raise awareness and funds for issues that deeply affect humanity. Click on the links below to learn more:
The Pro Humanitate Institute has two 7-passenger Mini-Vans that can be used for purposes that are connected to the mission of PHI. These might include direct service in the Winston-Salem or surrounding community, service learning, or to attend events connected to the mission of PHI. There is no cost for renting the vans but they are reserved on a first-come first-served basis. Vans may be driven by student, staff, or faculty drivers. Note: Student drivers must complete van certification training in order to reserve the vans.
Van reservation request forms and more information can be found here. Please contact Kelly Larrimore at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions or concerns about reserving the vans.
