Martin Luther King Jr. Read-In

Martin Luther King Jr. Read-In

In 2010, Wake Forest University partnered with HandsOn Northwest North Carolina, Winston-Salem State University, and Salem college to hold the first-ever Martin Luther King Jr. Read-In. The Read-In was established to promote Dr. King’s message of service, literacy, and justice to students ages 4-10.

Students may apply to volunteer as reading buddies to assist students ages 4-10 in their activities; or station leaders to facilitate various activities.
